Director - Chair, HUPAC

Harlan Johnson
Harlan V. Johnson Agency, Incorporated
harinsur@tds.net | 218-568-4900

Harlan was licensed in Life/A&H in September 1986, and was first appointed by ITT Life. It appeared he might starve selling Life Insurance to his peer group, despite the fact that the current credited rate of 11.2%, made it quite simple for a 'twenty something' to amass $1million in value by age 60. Health insurance was something everyone was willing to discuss, if not ask for! He became an agent for BCBSM with the Ron Grams Agency in Brainerd, and within two years, landed a General Agency contract himself. Harlan was a founding member of the BCBSM Ad Hoc Advisory Council. He is a LUTCF, and a past qualifier for LPRT. Harlan is a past and current President of NAIFA-Paul Bunyan, and a National Committeeman for NAIFA. He has served on the MCHA Board of Directors for the last ten years. He lives on Crosslake in Crosslake, MN, where he teaches barefoot waterskiing as a hobby.
