The presentation will provide an overview and suggestions on how to implement a successful CDHP coupled with a Health Savings Account. There will be a review as well as sample communication plans and timelines to ensure that employers and employees have time to make the right decision. We all know that making the sale to the employer is hard and that the employer will face potentially an up hill battle when they introduce the CDHP to their employees and a great headache when they mention the financial portion of CDHP but there are some proven strategies that can help and not just reduce frustration but potentially increase participation. That increase participation will reduce your employers cost and make your life a whole lot easier.
Key Learnings and Session Objectives:
Participants will be able to develop an organized approach to present the CHDP and the financial component to their employers as well as provide relevant information on how to communicate to the employees the benefits of the product and how to make the most of the plan. They should be able to demonstrate to the employer that they are experts and a partner that the employer can rely on when offering a new product.
Jill Kelly leads the Healthcare Division at The Bancorp Bank one of the leading administrators of health savings accounts and issuer of healthcare benefit cards. The Bancorp works with Carriers, TPAs, Employers, Brokers and Agents in providing a full service Health Savings Account Administration. Jill is Certified Public Accountant as well as a member of the American Bankers Association HSA Council and the HSA Coalition.
